ARCAL Systems

ARCAL Curtain Walling is a design of interconnecting mullions and transoms, which are designed for spanning from floor to floor of any given building.
The mullions and transoms incorporate different depths in order to satisfy the differing structural requirements as imposed by span, module and dead load deflection and applied loads.
The ARCAL curtain walling system incorporates a secondary drainage method by means of overlapping chambers that allows any moisture ingress to be channelled from the transom to the mullion and to the cill of the system where it can be discharged.
The nosing of the ARCAL Curtain Walling System has been designed to receive the mechanical fixing for the various insets and cassettes that can be integrated into the stick system.
The nosing also has been designed with a twin wall construction to allow support plates for external applications, which can be fixed within the designed wet zone.
The mullions and transoms are also designed with recessed grooves to allow the insertion of EPDM air seal gaskets and thermal breaks.
The ARCAL range of curtain wall systems have been independently tested in accordance with BS 6235 part 1 & 2 and in accordance with Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) classifications.
